  June 2024 Update Dear Readers, It has certainly been a while, which is why I've decided to provide you with some development updates today. Everyone hates delays. And so do I. But in the world of software and application development, delays are very common and in majority of cases exist to provide more development time to produce a much higher quality end product.  End of May 2024 was initially meant to be the release date for M2L Baltica . However due to delays, this release window has now been pushed back to later this year.  I'd like to apologize to those who have been waiting for an update on M2L Baltica, and can assure you that everything is looking beautiful at this point in time ( way beyond what I originally planned ).  So please stay tuned for a specific update on that title.   🤓💻📲❔ Did you know that QR.EASY Pro already works on Apple macOS desktop and Macbook computers built on the Apple M1 chip ? While this feature is a work in progress, it is safe to say that 98% of the app works perfectly with no bugs or issues in sight.  What this really means is that QR.EASY Pro users who purchase the app on the iOS app store will also be able to download a copy of the app to their Apple M1 powered desktop and Macbook systems, and encode and decode QR Code images effortlessly ( just like they would on their iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches ). Emperortech Ltd adopts Flutter Yes it is true: Emperortech Limited has now officially adopted the Flutter open source framework  for multi-platform application development. The decision was made around February 2022, but the migration of current 'work in progress' applications officially began in August 2022.  What is Flutter ? In a nutshell: " Flutter is an open source framework by Google for building beautiful, natively compiled, multi-platform applications from a single codebase. " What does this mean for existing and future applications developed by Emperortech Ltd ?   QR.EASY Symbols Legend (Part 02) This is ' Part 02 ' of the symbols legend tutorial, which is focused on the ' Error Correction (EC) Levels ' and what they mean. When creating a QR Code Image from a text in the text box, the Error Correction (EC) Levels used to encode the text will determine the resolution of the output QR Code .  This in turn will determine how easy it is for other QR Code Scanners to read the data embedded in the output QR Code Image you've created. With QR.EASY, the default EC Level is 0, which is the lowest level .  By pressing the 0 , 1 , 2 , and 3 buttons, you can easily set your desired EC level before you encode your text. NOTE: The EC Indicator is at the 'Top Right' of the screen. It will let you know what EC level is currently set.   Upcoming Feature Spotlight: History In the usual fashion of things, ETL is always working on something good for all of you. In this case, it's a new feature that QR.EASY users will find very useful. That feature is none other than the ' HISTORY ' feature. What is the 'History' feature ? The history feature will allow users of both free and paid versions of QR.EASY to easily access the last few texts that they have encoded from an easily accessible menu within the application. QR.EASY will only store text strings after a successful encoding operation has been completed.  This is a very useful time saving feature that will allow end users to go back to the last few encoding operations they have performed even after they shut down the application and restart it again . It is also very useful in an event where the app crashes before a successful encoding operation has been completed ( although I doubt end-users on any platform should be worrying about crashes...

In an unexpected turn of events, I was able to locate all the original source files for all versions of Silent Nights: Nightmare Into Darkness that was developed using the Ren'Py visual novel engine in 2015 .  The video above is a screen capture taken from the original release of Silent Nights: Nightmare into Darkness visual novel for Windows , macOS , and Linux . This was the short teaser for Season 2 ( Manifestations ) which was featured at the very end of the visual novel ( after the credits ). What it also shows it the sort of atmosphere that surrounds the expression of the SN:NID project: Fear and Horror.
